The softest place in your house is also the dirtiest.
Every shoe that comes through the door leaves something behind. Every pet, every open window, every dropped crumb. It all filters down through the fibres and settles into the base of the rug, beyond a vacuum’s reach. This fortnight, Oskar takes on a rug with micro-dry steam. The heat lifts what’s been sitting down there up to the surface, where the microfibre cloth catches it before it can settle back in. What comes out changes how you look at every rug in the house.
Finish in one direction
Back and forth is fine while you’re cleaning. But the final pass matters. Go over the whole rug in one direction, and every fibre lines up the same way. The rug looks smoother, catches light more evenly, and looks finished, not just cleaned.
