Your lights aren’t dim. They’re dusty.

Months of dust settle on top of a pendant shade, out of sight, quietly swallowing the light it should be letting through. This fortnight, Oskar de-dusts one with micro-dry steam. It lifts dust straight off delicate fabric without soaking it, so the shade comes up clean and the light comes back bright.

Dry dusting just moves it

A feather duster or dry cloth mostly relocates dust, flicking half of it into the air to resettle minutes later. Steam does the opposite. It attaches to the dust and weighs it down so it drops rather than scattering. Same couple of minutes, with none of the cloud.
